I've got some spending issues to tackle this Christmas and that's all about my unexpected expenses. Less was budgeted than the actual expenditures. I came in short with my presents so my first instinct was to charge it to no other than my credit cards, which I dreaded to happen. I swore not to spend more than a specific amount. Only to my surprise. Oh my *gulay! The figures got doubled after getting all the forgotten items. Oh well there goes my penance, perhaps that would be of lesser evil if I try to think of paying mortgages and loans each month.
Lesson learned: shop earlier so as not to accumulate a big expense that may eventually result to bad credit. Although it is now easier to find resources for people with bad credit. I still prefer to manage my finances controllably.
*Gulay means vegetable in Tagalog language.=þ
