I am a simple person who’s not really obsessed with beauty products. Unlike others, I seldom use some make up or lipstick going to the office or going out of the house. But on some occasions like job interview , like a formal dinner party or when the event really calls for one I put on some light make up and lipstick. Other than that I would prefer to stay as natural as possible. I value natural beauty.
The make up that I normally use are those with natural color which matches with the skin tone that I have. By the way if you ask about my skin color, I could proudly say I am very Asian as I was born in the Philippines. I’m a full blooded Filipina blessed with a light brown skin.
Everything is normal with my skin but I get annoyed by some warts growing on my back. Me and Tony visited a dermatology clinic in Future Park Rangsit, Bangkok to have it checked. It didn’t cost much to have those warts removed like it was around 3,000 to 4,000 Baht or roughly 90 US to $120 US. When we were there what caught my attention were those photos of beauty services like removing some spots on the face or reviving your skin which cost a fortune. The service fee ranges from around 25,000 to 40,000 Baht or $735 US to $1175 US for the treatment cost. It’s beyond ones reach unless you’re working as an executive in an international company or the likes. This is definitely not for me.
I was thinking if there was an alternative way to have better skin or can remove some spots on the skin. I came to know from my sister of ORIKI Cosmeceuticals which have a Whitening Lotion that reduces dark spots on skin and provides skin protection from solar damage. The formulations are hypoallergenic and is designed specifically for Asian skins.
I was surprised to see that the cost of having such a skin care product is very affordable at around $79 US. The price pales in comparison to the one provided by the beauty clinic that I have visited. A cheaper way to have a better skin. It’s worth your money.
For me beauty goes deep than just what can be seen by the naked eye but it can’t be denied these products helps.
Beauty should be enjoyed as life’s simple pleasures.
The last time I went home to Philippines was 2005. Bacolod has highly progressed with malls and new establishments around the metro. Less chaotic than Manila and Cebu but definitely satisfying to find a home with almost everything at hand. I tried visiting the malls to find friends who were shopping for the most awaited Christmas celebration. Fortunately I saw few of them, and found a music store that greatly interest me. They sell exclusively Christian music. I go around the booth and grabbed a copy of Look to You album by Hillsong United.
Surprisingly, after 2 years, it’s my first time to play the DVD. Their concert was awesome! Salvation is Here and Tell the World songs rocked our house last night. It’s really worth buying the original. The video is as clear as water.
I was an avid watcher of 911 on television when I was in college. I remember one specific incident when a man was awoken by the alarm and startled to see a leopard inside his house. He has placed his life in grave danger facing that wild animal when he even could have avoided it through the use of surveillance camera.
Investing in a device like home camera is needful to ensure ones safety. Even for offices, banks, supermarkets, department stores, train stations and hotels to name a few is deemed necessary to have one installed to there surveillance system. One may never know the importance if the situation calls for it. This simple device as being used by many now have raised the awareness of the public to be cautious of there actions. Especially for the Mr. Bean wannabes.
I like to point out that HomeCamera.com asked me to be fair and partial in reviewing their interesting site. I’ve learned that it is an internet home surveillance intended for an easy-to-use solution to monitor activities at home or anywhere you want it to be. I believe this is there company’s strength in penetrating there target market which is for the households around the world. They are offering a free trial for public beta; before they go commercial.
There support service is excellent as its available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I find it interesting to know that their company is as well recognized by big companies like Nokia Networks, Maxis and DiGi. Reliability is not a question to be raised anymore.
Advice for people who plans to purchase a surveillance device, get the user-friendly software of HomeCamera. It does not only saves time but also a big amount of money.

It has been 3 to 4 months that Thailand have restricted YouTube from being shown to internet users. It was banned due to some sensitive video clips that hurt the people’s emotion towards somebody they highly revered. Freedom should have restrictions, and this great example should serve as a lesson. I love this country and I respect their King for he is good and upright. I just hope that people uses this media to showcase great talents without any false agenda.

I’m glad my curiosity had brought me to better understanding of the technicalities of blogging. It introduced me to new terms that are not widely used by common people. Words such as pro blogging, netrepreneurship, SEO etc.
During my spare time I try to google the words that interest me specially this lucrative thing. I tried using it a couple of times on my blog categories but never really understood the concept of it. Until one day, my hubby who is also a blogger (techxplore dot net) prompted me about the word. With barely no reference from Wiki or other online dictionary, I simply told him, its about me; a person who is not against blogging. I know it wasn’t too close. But my answer was fine I guess.
With thorough research I remember yugatech dot com has explained it further as a blogger who gets encouraged to blog better. Or shall we say, a professional blogger. I was enlightened to read yuga’s post. This made me proud.
To make money online in the comfort of my home is promising. It generates monthly revenues which helps pay off my bills. There’s no pressure on my part as I do it only on part time basis. I’m an administrator by day and a blogger by night.
Hubby installed a master boot file on our laptop and decided to run the program immediately. After awhile he called up from his office and calmly said we have to buy a new external hard drive as we’re about to loose our data if restarting takes place.
Well I trust him to have total control of the situation. So I never panicked. Unfortunately our most dreaded thing still happened. The moment he plugged in the external hard drive it displayed a blue screen. With texts indicating that the once existing partitions is now invisible or could not be detected.
Last night, that problem had become history. He installed testdisk file and photorec from an open source and it seems that nothing happened at all. All files are up and running. Now our laptop is as good as new. With 2 GB RAM and 160 HDD. We’re blessed for that certain incident.
No, no, no this is not an X thing. That one starts with C. I’m simply noting my first ever experience with sensor taps and toilet bowl sensors. It almost freaked me out when I went home to the Philippines last 2005. While coming out from the plane, I felt my stomach was rumbling, so I headed straight to the nearest comfort room. I got scared to see no sign of a flush button sticking on the bowl, only to find out it automatically flushes as soon as you’re done. Oh well technology has its way of amazing people for first times.
Siam Paragon and five star hotels in Bangkok also uses taps that are sensor generated. I find it innovative and economical in terms of water savings for long term cost benefits. Water is important to life, so its necessary to find ways to save it.
Last week, me and my husband were looking through the home section of Central Department store. We enjoyed every details of bathroom accessories, bath tubs, and Mira showers. Which I also found in Taps4Less.com. It feels so homey to stay in that section. Some bathroom furnitures are simply irresistible.

Have you ever heard of OTOP here in Thailand? It actually stands for One Tambon ( means Province) One Product. Thai government has adapted this technique from Japan which has now benefited mostly the Small and Medium Enterprise or SME’s in every provinces of this country. They normally have there exhibitions on Impact Arena, Muangthongthani as announced on newspapers, billboards and televisions. I’m really impressed how the Thai government promotes OTOP locally and internationally and by the ingenuity of the Thai people as well. One product I truly like is there traditional Thai silk. It’s not only marketable, above all it has become a symbol of elegance and beauty.
If you’re a Thai citizen you must be familiar with OSMEP or Office of Small Medium Enterprise Promotion. SME’s are backed by their government to be able to exercise their rights to avail of loans. But in other countries this is not the usual case. If you are into business that needs a big amount of money for additional capital the very first solution you might think of is applying loans on lending companies. But trying this method would need several requirements like collateral, good credit records, co-signer with good credit history and more. If you don’t want to go over the hustle and bustle of credit application maybe you would try to consider applying for unsecured business loans. It’s revolutionary since it doesn’t require any collateral from a borrower and works in as much the same way as credit card.
Unsecured Lines of Credit is one way of achieving business goal. Financing made easy by EZunsecured.com.
I had a great day last September 1st with Mr. Jonathan Taylor mentoring us for a teaser course on photography. The activity commenced at 12:30 in the morning until 6:30 PM. There were six of us who were booked that day to have the session. Me and Leilani went together from AIT to Sukhumvit Soi 31. Most of us went through BTS skytrain stopping at Phrom Phong station beside Emporium Mall.
I like the flat were Joe’s studio and his colleagues gallery was located. It’s accessibility, the beautiful paintings and the trees surrounding the area had added to a blissful atmosphere that you can seldom find in a metro area like Sukhumvit. We looked for the sign Himali Cha Cha, a cozy Indian resto known in Bangkok and went up the spiral staircase to meet the others.
There were 2 British, 1 Chinese, 1 Thai and 2 of us Filipinas who participated. First, we were given our assignment details and viewed a slide show for a short guideline on what to do. Afterwhich we were given a thirty minutes activity to try out if we get the idea. Then we headed back to pick our first top 5 photos to be critiqued by Joe if we got the instructions right or not.
to be continued…
In AIT where we live, it’s a blessing that we could enjoy fresh air and pollution free walking in the evening. Sometimes me and Tony would go for a walk after dinner. On a clear evening he likes to raise the topics on UFO’s and points at the construction site telling me, "the alien ship has landed, look." Actually it’s just the crane atop the building in Thailand’s National Science Park.
At times we gaze on clear skies which is full of stars. We often take pictures of the moon and talk about our dream house located in an island. Vividly describing it having an observatory with big binoculars mounted on the roof top for star gazing.
We’re both amazed by the beauty of the heavenly bodies that scatters the evening skies and we’re thankful to the Creator above for the gifts he bestowed on us. Truly one of our life’s simple pleasures.
Next stop was in Siam junction. We stroll along Siam area to capture interesting lines and curves we could find along the way. At 4:00 in afternoon we are scheduled to meet at Bar Italia to relax. It’s at ground floor of Gaysorn Plaza, opposite of Erawan Shrine.
I was sooooo hungry and exhausted without proper lunch after our photo session. Immediately I ordered green tea cake and mix-fruit smoothie.
Soon after that break we headed back to the gallery. I downloaded my pictures and chose the final 5 to be shown on the big screen for discussion about my work. I felt nervous to show my pictures. Though the critiques were fine. No other than my batch mates and the expert Joe himself. Everybody’s free to ask questions and says a word that finds them catchy or irrelevant.
Do I love my office? A question raised on Karl’s blog, posted last August 24. My answer is definitely YES (in capitals). I can describe it as my ‘room for improvement. ‘ Most of the time I work alone since my officemate is a researcher and she stays most of the time on field to gather data. So I enjoy doing things on my own. And listen occasionally to lounge music to keep me company.
I’m actually celebrating my second year anniversary in this office this September. When I first set foot here, I was magnetized by the view outside the window. The place is surrounded by lush green trees. The sight helps me a lot as I gaze every now and then to relax my cornea from not focusing to much on my computer’s monitor. I’m frequently visited too by my dear friends, three squirrels and colorful birds which has become my favorite subjects in photography. Loving my room and my surroundings are just a speck from what I learned from Karl Moore. This person likes to posts inspirational messages to his blog daily. It’s a good read knowing his random thoughts as it helps inspires individuals like in my spiritual growth.
