Much as I wanted to learn the ropes of investments and becoming truly rich in different aspects of life, comes this very timely post from Noemi with such lucid information. Other than motivational books from R. Kiyosaki, T. Stanely, Larry Gamboa and Bo Sanchez I suppose practical application should also be given attention. I know investing on stocks or bonds is never easy based from my interviews in college years. It was part of my internship period wherein Business Management students got oriented on stock markets, stock exchange, blue chips, cheap stocks and the like.
I came across this Absolute Traders this morning which is absolutely interesting. They aim to educate and help a financial nincompoop like me. What’s great is that they also offer seminars as summarized from this course outline: Technical Analysis; Trendlines; Major Patterns; Volume, Long-term charts & Indices, Moving average; Oscillators; and Trading Tactics. Sounds cool huh! But technically with my few basic knowledge I crave for more explanation on all of these. Probably to equip me for future decision making. I just don’t want to rely on gut feeling every time the market claims "bullish". Now there are more reliable resources to turn to.
Another reason to look forward to is the fact that I could actually do online trading conveniently through Philstocks and Citisec stock brokers. Sheesh! I can’t wait to raise my financial I.Q. I needed to earn more in order to help more.
:) just got inspired to blog about investment after i finished reading 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich…early this year me and Tony had a chance to attend Kasikorn Bank’s dissemination seminar about mutual fund but i didn’t understood the entirety of it…i’m more interested on bonds for a start perhaps…
