Another meme had come my way. Thanks to Noel who didn’t miss writing my name among the victims. I’m not sure if this would probably qualify us to be part of the Uncanny X-men or possibly Heroes? Below you’ll find some identified weird things bout me and tony in random order. Enjoy!
*** i like Dentyne’s blueberry flavored chewing gum. I use to keep a box beside me in my office and eat it even with braces.

Much as I wanted to learn the ropes of investments and becoming truly rich in different aspects of life, comes this very timely post from Noemi with such lucid information. Other than motivational books from R. Kiyosaki, T. Stanely, Larry Gamboa and Bo Sanchez I suppose practical application should also be given attention. I know investing on stocks or bonds is never easy based from my interviews in college years. It was part of my internship period wherein Business Management students got oriented on stock markets, stock exchange, blue chips, cheap stocks and the like.
I came across this Absolute Traders this morning which is absolutely interesting. They aim to educate and help a financial nincompoop like me. What’s great is that they also offer seminars as summarized from this course outline: Technical Analysis; Trendlines; Major Patterns; Volume, Long-term charts & Indices, Moving average; Oscillators; and Trading Tactics. Sounds cool huh! But technically with my few basic knowledge I crave for more explanation on all of these. Probably to equip me for future decision making. I just don’t want to rely on gut feeling every time the market claims "bullish". Now there are more reliable resources to turn to.
Another reason to look forward to is the fact that I could actually do online trading conveniently through Philstocks and Citisec stock brokers. Sheesh! I can’t wait to raise my financial I.Q. I needed to earn more in order to help more.
Phad Thai or Thai Fried Noodles with Shrimp is definitely one of my all time favorite local food. I have tried it in different shops from side streets to cozy restaurants. I really don't eat it often but for sure AIT Conference Center is the only place where I could truly guarantee has the best phad thai to offer because of its authentic taste. They cook it just right and affordable too.
If you might wonder what it's made of, here's its recipe:
1 lb. thin Thai rice stick noodles
10 med. size shrimps, shelled and cleaned
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c. bean sprouts (preferably fresh)
1 tbsp. nampla (fish sauce)
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1/2 c. vegetable oil
GARNISH:
1 tbsp. chopped spring onion
1 tbsp. chopped fresh coriander leaves
2 lemon wedges
1 tbsp. coarsely ground peanuts
Additional raw bean sprouts
Dash of chili powder or red pepper
Soak noodles in warm water for 15-20 minutes, drain. Place bean sprouts in cold water. In a large frying pan or wok, heat oil and saute garlic over medium to high heat until light brown. Add shrimp and stir-fry until well done. Add sugar, nampla or fish sauce, ketchup to wok, stirring together. Add eggs, then noodles, and stir-fry mixture until noodles turn orange. Drain bean sprouts and add to wok. Stir-fry another 2-3 minutes. Put on serving plate with raw bean sprouts arranged on side. Sprinkle top with ground peanuts, spring onion, coriander, chili powder and garnish with lemon wedges. Serve hot.
I wonder what went wrong with my diet. It has been happening for a couple of months. Then finally thought of consulting Google. Found out that I was suffering from Vitamin B deficiency. So now I've got the solution with my cracked lips. Thought 'twas just because of weather transition which causes peeling and itching. Funny thing, I immediately went to the drugstore and bought my own prescription. But when the pharmacist asked me what specifically do I need, I chose the one which sounds complex B1, B6 and B12. All the while I found out that I'm suppose to take Vitamin B2 for riboflavin. hahahahaha. I tried to convince myself that nobody got overdosed with vitamins. Nevertheless, I'm glad it shows a little progress as days go by.
